The shader processing units of R7 250X are better than those of R7 250. also texture and pixel rates of  R7 250X are much better than those of R7 250.

3D Mark GPU Scores as provided by the http://www.futuremark.com/ also indicate that R7 250X (Score-4020) is much better than the R7 250 (Score-2730).

#The Conclusion

Although we can see that R7 250X is noticeably better than the R7 250, but decision of every person depends on numerous situations, criteria etc.

So, if you have the 450W genuine power supply with one 6pin power connector, or you can easily buy a new one - than go for AMD R7 250X straight, without a single question.

BUT

if you dont have the 450W genuine power supply with one 6pin power connector, and you cant buy a new one due to budget issues then you can go for The AMD R7 250.

(In simple words if you dont have any budget problems, than you can choose R7 250X over R7 250)
