The Stop error, also known as the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is an error screen seen on a computer system with Microsft Windows operating system. BSOD triggers after a fatal system error. anyone who has faced this Blue Screen of Death knows that finding a solution is not easy but possible with few steps you can try to find the reason for this problem or error.

1) Check your computer's event viewer

Check administrative or application logs to see if any errors or warnings occurred prior to the BSOD error.

To start Event Viewer in Windows.
> Click the Start button.
> Click Control Panel.
> Click System and Maintenance.
> Click Administrative Tools.
> Open Event Viewer.

2) Malware Scan

Blue screen errors can sometimes be caused by malware or adware. run malware scan to detect and remove them and check if problem persists.

3) Find out what triggers blue screen (BSOD):

If the BSOD appears consistently every time you use a specific program/ software, then the problem is likely related to it. try running that program/ software on some other computer to see whether the blue screen (BSOD) occurs. If the BSOD does not appear on other computer, the blue screen error is unique to your computer only. If the error is random or frequent, it may related to your hardware. you can also check your disk for errors using windows chkdsk utility.

3) Check for faulty memory (RAM)

blue screen BSOD errors are often related to faulty memory i.e. the RAM, so to check the RAM, run a memory diagnostic. Microsoft Windows includes memory diagnostic utility, or you can use free third-party utility, very popular being Memtest.

you can download it here : http://www.memtest86.com/

4) Change the computer's memory (RAM)

As you read above that the majority of BSOD have been related to faulty RAM. memory diagnostic tools do not always detect memory problems. consider replacing the memory in a computer that is experiencing a BSOD error. Often time this will stop the BSOD errors, even if there was no fault detected during memory test.

5) Check computer's temperature

Sometimes problems persist with the overheating of the CPU. Check that the computer is not overheating.

>case vents are not blocked or clogged.
>clean your CPU with a blower if necessary.
>check that all the internal and external fans are working properly.

6) Search the internet for the errors

BSOD error contains an error message. Searching the internet for the error message will help you know likely causes of the BSOD. sometimes similar problem's solution can also help you solving your error problems.

7) Remove and Re-attach

The strangest solution, but sometimes worth a million, remove components and cables attached to your motherboard and reattach them and see if the problems persists.
In particular i would suggest removing the RAM and insert it again after cleaning.
